WERC AT COLOR WALK MURAL FESTIVAL

Mexican border city, Ciudad Juarez, has had the unfortunate stigma of being one of North America's most violent cities.  Through the help of muralists and street artists, the city is trying to change that perception with a new campaign and mural festival called COLOR WALK.

The idea of COLOR WALK is to create street art pieces that will create pride and make positive statements of the community as well as attract tourism by bringing some renown national and international artists.

The first (of many murals to come) has been produced by one of our very own, WERC.

This will be a monthly audio session curated by DJ Phyz Ed.
This month's guest mixer is DJ C-Minus

"Vinyl records is what started it all for us DJ mixers.
This will be a DJ workshop with teachings and showcasing.

Analog and digital cultures will be met to better overstand your knowledge.
The evolution of technology thru the years will be addressed.

All genres will be covered & all works will be based around turntablism.

Weekly guest DJs will showcase their talent, tell their stories 
and give a little insight in how they got started.
