Man One, known for his bold and colorful strokes and amazing portraits now has available a new piece which introduces you to his innner thoughts regarding the "devastating affect of homelessness" amongst children.
"When you think of homelessness, one usually thinks of adults on the streets. What about homeless kids? To me that's the most devastating affect of homelessness, the kids and families who have no where to go. In this painting I decided not to use an actual subject for the image, but rather a composite of child's images I found. I wanted to depict that emotion of hopelessness more than an actual person in this piece. My hope is that people are moved to action by this painting and this exhibition.” - Man One
The piece above is titled "Sadness" and the look within the child's eyes says it all. Sadness is 36 x 48, Aerosol on canvas, 2010 and is now available.
